FAQ
Laughter Yoga is a fun and uplifting practice that combines playful laughter exercises with deep breathing. No jokes, comedy, or flexibility required—just a willingness to laugh!
Laughter Yoga is a fun and easy way to reduce stress, boost your mood, and improve your health - all while having a blast! It’s scientifically proven to lower blood pressure, strengthen your immune system, and improve your overall well-being. Plus, it’s a great way to meet new people and leave feeling lighter - both in body and spirit. So, why not laugh your way to a healthier, happier you?
You will find us Fridays at 10am in the Hermitage Room of Greenbank Parish Church (Braidburn Terrace, EH10 6ES) in the beautiful Edinburgh Morningside.
The Laughter in Nature classes are new and will run monthly. You will find the next location and time on the calendar.
Click on the calendar to select the class you’d like to join and secure your spot (limited spaces available!). Donations can be made before or after class - cash and card accepted!
You’re welcome to drop in spontaneously, but it’s very helpful if you register in advance - just so we know we won’t be too few or too many.
All ages (+18) and backgrounds welcome! For all fitness levels suitable! Also suitable for people with physical impairments (you can join sitting on a chair if needed)! All you need is a smile and your laughter!
Just yourself, comfy clothes, and a joyful spirit! Special equipment or sport outfit is NOT needed. If you have a yoga mat, feel free to bring it - it’s only used for the final part of the session when we relax on the floor (or sit in a chair). But don’t worry if you don’t have one or can’t bring it - I’ll happily provide a mat for you.
For the Laughter in Nature class, no yoga mats are needed. Just wear weather-appropriate clothing - and something you don’t mind sitting on the ground in. Comfort over fashion, always!
